Program Objectives

Upon completion of the B.Com. Program, the graduates will be able to:

PO 1: Demonstrate understanding of the basic concepts and theoretical knowledge used in the different Commerce and business-related areas like Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Banking, Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, etc. able to become a successful professional in these fields.

PO 2: Apply the different tools and techniques for solving the problems related to their field of study in day-to-day situations during their career.

PO 3: Critically analyse the commerce and management-related scenarios and upgrade knowledge through self-directed and self-managed learning.

PO 4: Plan and develop entrepreneurial ventures independently through gathering and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.

PO 5: Effectively communicate through different modes and forms of communication while working as a member of a team in the organization at different levels.

PO 6: Display analytical and practical skills required to work as a tax consultant,

PO 7: Effectively work with the different groups and teams diversified in terms of gender, age, ethnicity, cultural background, academic background, and nationalities

PO 8: Develop the ability to judiciously use, deploy the information, and use technology to improve the teaching and learning process in areas like Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Banking, Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, etc

PO 9: Demonstrate leadership qualities required to lead diverse teams and small groups to achieve the common goals of the organization

PO 10: Prove proficiency with the ability to qualify competitive professional examinations at the national and international level in different Commerce and business-related areas like Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Banking, Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, etc

PO 11: Acquisition and ability to apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to deal with corporate social responsibility and sustainability concerns.

 

Program Specific Objectives

After the successful completion of the B.Com Degree Program, the students shall be able to;

PSO 1: Understand the concepts and techniques of commerce and their application in the business environment

PSO 2: Conceive the ideas on entrepreneurship and develop the skills for setting up and managing business organizations

PSO 3: Develop the skills and abilities to become competent and competitive in the business world

PSO 6: To make the students capable of managing the office activities with the help of information technology
