IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a central quality monitoring body with quality enhancement as an ongoing strategy and channelized various steps and standards towards the holistic growth of the institution. IQAC of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Business Management was established in 2017.

Aims & Objective

  • To develop and support an approach to facilitate academic and administrative excellence.
  • To enable standards for quality enhancement towards quality culture and best practices of the institution.
  • Encouraging the creation of a learner-centric environment helps for quality education.
  • Documentation of various programs/activities of the College, guiding to quality progress.
  • Optimization and integration of teaching techniques and learning
  • Assuring the satisfactoriness, supervision, and functioning of the authorization establishment and assistance.
  • Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
  • Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
  • Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS to maintain/enhance institutional quality.

Functions / Role of Stakeholders

  • Students: The role of students is of prior essence in the institution. Students are to be involved in teaching and learning activities facilitated in the institution.
  • Faculty/Academic Staff: The faculty is to deliver a stirring atmosphere to learn and conduct teaching sincerely. Faculty is to keep itself updated with the new knowledge. Faculty is to teach ethical academic culture and maintain appropriate documentation of the programs and processes that aid the overall development of the students.
  • Non-Teaching Staff: They are the backbone of all the activities conducted in the institute. They must ensure all the administrative and functional support for the smooth conduct of the institute’s activities. 
  • Alumni: Alumni are encouraged to be in touch with their teachers, or via any of the social network sites to provide feedback on improving teaching, and learning in college.
  • Management Trustees: Any educational institution can’t function without appropriate support and guidance from its managerial trustees. The management is, therefore, to provide organizational, and financial support to promote excellence in quality teaching-learning imparted through the institution. 

The policy declaration of the IQAC intends to ensure participative decision-making and to promote collaboration among members of the institution. The policy intends to provide a broad approach to stakeholders to boost excellence in education.
